Production

In the mountainous areas of eastern Crete in the province of Sitia is the village of Ziros. There, the fruit of the olive tree is born and ripens, bathed in the abundant sunlight and full of the juices and aromas of the Cretan land.An area with a special microclimate and a protected designation of origin for its olive oil (P.O.P. Sitia Lasithi of Crete).

ZIRO extra virgin olive oil is produced exclusively from olives of Koroneiki variety. A blessed tree that withstands the dry and hot climate of Sitia and at the same time it can produce high quality olive oil with excellent aroma and taste. It contains a large amount of tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol derivatives that classify it as a superfood with health protective properties.

Ensuring quality is one of our main principles therefore we follow high standards through the entire production circle.
