The MELOMA is active in the field of honey production and standardization from the mountainous areas of Chania. Sealing a five-decade beekeeping tradition, the factory was founded in 2017 and operates in a modern and well-equipped environment that meets all legal specifications and aspires to offer the consumer an excellent product of high nutritional value.

The concentration of honey from the hive to the jar is done with the least possible human intervention while observing the most modern hygiene rules. The main products of the company are pine thyme honey, a product exclusively of Crete, and thyme honey collected from the area of the Samaria National Forest and which, in addition to thyme, contains malotira as well as rare and exquisite herbs of the Cretan flora. In addition, depending on the seasonal flowering, various other varieties of honey are produced.
