A recently founded company (2014), we are guided by our passion for pure organic extra virgin olive oil and a desire to marry centuries old traditions of olive oil production with 21st century technology to create a premium product.

Established in 2014 by a young entrepreneur, Eftihis Androulakis, PAMAKO is the brainchild of a passionate Cretan who decided to build on a family tradition of several generations with the help of his family and his partner, Dorothea Ritter. We combine tradition with cutting edge technology to produce an olive oil that is exceptional in both taste and quality.

Preserving traditional methods of sustainable organic cultivation and processing, we integrate them with the newest technology in order to get the best out of each olive and create a premium extra virgin olive oil.

The experience of older generations guided us, and youthful passion motivated us to start a challenging, painstaking procedure to take full advantage of what nature gave us. It all began in a rocky, mountainous area covered with olive trees that are hundreds of years old. Throughout our journey, we kept in mind the advice of our grandfathers “to respect the trees, look after them, and they will richly reward you with their fruits.” The best quality olive oil with all of olive oil’s health benefits is our ultimate reward.

PAMAKO is one of the few olive oils worldwide to have a certified health claim on its label in accordance with EU regulation 432/2012, as it contains very high amounts of phenols.

From 2019 till now we are the only one and first worldwide EVOO to be certified and approved as food supplement by Belgian, Luxembourgish and French governments. This is the first and only product to be legally prescribed by doctors and can be found on the shelves of pharmacies.

In addition, the bottles have a small but important detail: the glass is made in Italy, Venice and is made without the use of Pb (lead) so that we can ensure the chemical quality of our olive oils. Also you will notice that the top of the bottle is not flat but leans backwards. This is a design so that when you pour the olive oil from the bottle, the air will push it out and only the olive oil will pour out by the tongue of the bottle.

 

 

 

Last but not least the cork that we use is naturall cork and is a one piece wood cork. The wooden finish on top is glued with natural glue made from sugarcane.(We hate plastics)!! The black plastic capsule (on the top) can be opened only from the back of the bottle. As you put your finger in the hole to open the bottle you tear the capsule easy from the back side in each bottle with your other hand. Every capsule is put in place by hand.

The tie label is made out of potato papper and to ensure that won't break easily we tie it with black fishing rope. The tiny pin in the rope is gold plated for the Monovarietal and silver plated for the Blend. Everything is done by hand.
