Our story began around 2014 when, being economic migrants ourselves in countries like Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, we realized how much we missed the flavors and quality of Greek products. The fine olive oil, the flavorful and aromatic honey, the Cretan herbs—all these delights that previously were part of our daily routine. Thus, some years later, we decided to bring our old vision to life. Our goal? To let more people in Europe know about the great quality of Cretan delights and to make sure Cretan products get the attention they deserve. At the same time, we aim to help small producers who are focused on quality, to preserve the quality of their products and make sure they have sufficient assistance to reach the global markets. To achieve our goals, we created an online store providing top-quality Cretan products with extensive information over their history, quality, and nutritional value. One of the core principles of our team is collaborating with producers who believe in and guarantee quality as much as we do. For us, personal contact with each producer we work with has proven to be crucial. Getting to know our producers has helped in selecting the right products, as we are convinced that the care, passion, and character of each producer is directly mirrored in the quality of his work. It's no exaggeration to say that every producer we met told us a beautiful story about themselves and their family, revealing why Cretan Garden products stand out. Each story contains a significant piece of Cretan tradition, the Cretan land, and the Cretan family itself, and the strong bonds that hold it strong and united. On our part, we feel lucky and blissful to have met these people and discover on first-hand how the value of Cretan products aligns perfectly with the ethics of the people of Crete—those who continue with hard work and much love to produce and bring the treasures of Cretan land to our table.
