The wonderful "PDO SITIA" Cretan Extra Virgin olive oil is made from the special "Koroneiki" type of olives. It comes from the fertile lands of Sitia, located in Crete's Lasithi region, and it proudly carries the label of "Protected Designation of Origin." When it's time to collect the olives, they're carefully handpicked, ensuring they're treated with the utmost care. The olive oil is crafted through a process called cold extraction. The resulting olive oil is not too acidic, bursting with healthy phenols, and boasts a fruity flavor paired with a delightful aroma. Its exceptional quality ranks it among the finest oils worldwide.
