These Cretan Dakos rusks are produced in Rethymno, Crete, following the traditional recipe of GRANDMOTHER Nicoletta, who used to gather woods and valuable herbs from the fields every morning and use to bake the rusks in their traditional wood oven. They are made from pure ingredients and you can taste them with your salads and snacks. We recommend to taste with with fresh chopped tomatoes, feta or mizithra cheese and of course extra virgin olive oil. A habit that became a tradition for the Tzianoudakis family, which keep honoring their ancestors memory.
